May 7 – The Heart and Stroke foundation is running our Jump Rope for Heart event on the afternoon of May 7 at 1:30pm. Students are collecting donations and we hope to see everyone participating in this event.
May 11- just a reminder for all parents/guardian who purchased geraniums that they will be available for pick-up on Friday, May 11 at 3:00pm until 5:00pm.

May 21: Monday, May 21 is the Victoria Day holiday, therefore, the school is closed and there will be no classes for students.

Spring Plant Fundraiser: On Monday, April 2 students will be sent home with all the information and order forms for flowers and other plants to be sold as our spring fundraiser. All forms must be returned by Thursday, April 26th.
Basketball Teams: Congrats to the boys and girls teams for very successful seasons. The boys were finalist in a hard fought game against Wyoming. The girls completed a perfect season with a win in the championship game against Centennial. Great work Knights! Thank you to Mr. Harding, Mr. Hills, Mrs. McGuire, and Mr. Gravelle for coaching these teams.
M&M Meat Shops: During the month of April, our local M&M Meat shop is graciously donating 10% of all purchases from their Petrolia store when you purchase an item and identity yourself as a local school supporter. Thank you M&M Meat Shops!

On Monday December 19th our school council will host another Movie Night! “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” will be shown a 6pm sharp in our school gym.
Milk forms are due to the office on December 19th.
On December 20th, our grade 7 students will go swimming at the community centre from 11:30am – 12:30pm.
On December 21st, our annual Christmas Dinner will be served to our students. This event will take place at the Petrolia Legion, and is sponsored by School Council. To help with the cost of the dinner, we are asking that each student pay $5.
Our Holiday break begins Saturday, December 24th and continues until Sunday, January 8. Classes resume on Monday, January 9th.

Our JK/SK Christmas concerts were held on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Certainly a great job by all students involved. Thank you to all the parents that came out to watch!
On Wednesday, December 14, parents can pick up their Meat/Fruit Pie and Soup orders from 3-5pm.
On Decmeber 15, Magazine orders are due. Please return the orders to school with your child to give to his or her teacher.
On December 15, the grade 6 students will perform their musical at 11:30am and 6:30pm in the gym.

On December 6th, dental screening will take place for our grade 8 students.
December 9th will be pizza day.
Also on December 9th, our Family Life (sexual education) programs will begin for junior and intermediate students.
